GRAPHITE

Graphite is naturally occuring carbon in crystalineform. Graphite can also be called as elemental carbon with partial rhombo hydral hexagonal crystals.

Graphite is used in several fields due to its electrical conductivity and chemical properties.

Industrial Applications :

1. In manufacture of battery cells, graphite pencils, and crucibles, retords, etc.

2. Graphite cathod ray tubes, and motor and generator brushes.

3. Has improtant application in aluminium mettalury.

4. Graphite is used in paints like chimney black paint, boiler paint, & speciality coatings.

5. Graphite is used in rubber and plastic industry.
